"My experience in Tecate, Mexico was life changing. Every day was a new adventure that was completely different from my life at home. We were able to go to two rural schools and teach! People often ask me what my favorite memory from abroad was, but that is so hard to answer because there are so many! However, getting to know the students, and getting the opportunity to work with my classmates are at the top of my ‘favorites list’. The environment was completely different from anything I had ever experienced, which is why I loved it so much. I was able to learn so much and get more out of this unforgettable experience by being immersed in such unique culture. My experience in Tecate gave me a new viewpoint and perception on life and other cultures around me. Thank you Via International for this amazing opportunity!"

"Via International was a great support in putting together the logistics for our bilingual teacher experience across the border in Tecate, Mexico. They worked to facilitate transportation, housing and food, along with visits to various communities as we worked together to provide a border experience which opens new teachers' eyes to the immigration issues we face along the border. Their support made our trips a great success and we look forward to working with them in the future."
Loyola University Maryland - Andrea Goicochea, Assistant Director International Immersions
