At Via International, we are committed to Sustainable Community Development. 

The United Nations defines this vitally important concept as, "coming together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems...at a grassroots community level."  Via's strategy is simple and effective. Via International brings together a social field of individuals and organizations working collectively to identify and solve the everyday challenges facing our local communities. 

We call these solutions Self-Reliance Initiatives.
